Our mission is to carry out the great commission of Jesus Christ as recorded in Matt. 28, to reach out the Ethiopian community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their language, to provide social development programs geared toward the well-being of the community. The Church’s spiritual need is carried out by the Pastors the board of Elders – as overseers. We have church services, prayer meetings and home fellowships throughout the week. Our vision is to pursue a living relationship with God through Christian faith carried out by means of regular church services and teachings of gospel. Besides reaching out souls and impacting the Ethiopian/Erutrean Community in Vancouver, ZGC is supporting a large mission work known us Mission 3:16 International Ministry in Ethiopia since 2012. By the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the continual mission support of Zion's Glory Church, thousands have come to Christ globally. Side by side with the preaching of the gospel and through various measures of community development works and with help of our lord Jesus Christ, we envision to bring to bring gospel to the people and equip them to serve the Lord.
ራዕያችን
በመደበኛ የቤተ ክርስቲያን አገልግሎቶች እና የወንጌል ትምህርቶች በክርስትና እምነት ከእግዚአብሔር ጋር ሕያው ግንኙነትን መከተል ነው። የጽዮን ክብር ቤ/ክ በቫንኮቨር የኢትዮጵያን/ኤርትራውያን ማህበረሰብ ላይ ተጽእኖ ከማሳደሩ በተጨማሪ፣ ከ2012 ጀምሮ በእኛ የሚታወቀውን ሚሽን 3፡16 ዓለም አቀፍ አገልግሎት በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ወንጌል ኃይል እና በጽዮን ቀጣይነት ያለው ተልዕኮ ድጋፍ እያደረገ ነው። በጽዮን ክብር ቤተ ክርስቲያን ተጽዕኖ በሺዎች የሚቆጠሩ በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ ወደ ክርስቶስ መጥተዋል። ከወንጌል ስብከት ጎን ለጎን እና በተለያዩ የማህበረሰብ ልማት ስራዎች እና በጌታችን በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ እርዳታ ወንጌልን ለሰዎች በማድረስ ጌታን እንዲያገለግሉ ለማስታጠቅ እናስባለን።
VALUES
Gospel motivates us to worship Him, to obey Him, and follow Jesus every day. It also drives us to share God’s love with our families, friends, community, and the world at large. Christianity is not a set of religious rules but a living relationship with the Triune God in Jesus Christ. Our focus as a church is to respond to His calling on our lives. Having been saved and connected to Him through saving-faith of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we now serve our Savior with gladness. We are a community called to reach-out and demonstrate the love and grace of Jesus through our lives and words – both here in our community and around the world. We are a community called to reach up as believers, loving and worshipping God at our most highest. The foundations of this church are Biblical teaching of the Word, Spirit-led worship, authentic relationships, unceasing prayer, and compassionate provision for the needy.
እሴቶች
ወንጌል እግዚአብሔርን እንድናመልከው፣ እንድንታዘዘው እና ኢየሱስን በየቀኑ እንድንከተል ያነሳሳናል። እንዲሁም ከቤተሰቦቻችን፣ ከጓደኞቻችን፣ ከማህበረሰቡ እና ከአለም ጋር ያለውን ፍቅር እንድናካፍል ይገፋፋናል። ክርስትና የሃይማኖታዊ ህጎች ስብስብ ሳይሆን በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ካለው ከስላሴ አምላክ ጋር ያለ ህያው ግንኙነት ነው። ትኩረታችን እንደ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ለሕይወታችን ጥሪ ምላሽ መስጠት ነው። በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ወንጌል በማዳን ከዳነን እና ከእርሱ ጋር ከተገናኘን፣ አሁን አዳኛችንን በደስታ እናገለግላለን። እኛ ለማግኘት የተጠራን ማህበረሰብ ነን የኢየሱስን ፍቅር እና ፀጋ በህይወታችን እና በቃላችን - እዚህ በማህበረሰባችን እና በአለም ዙሪያ ለማሳየት። እኛ አማኞች ሆነን እንድንገኝ የተጠራን ማህበረሰብ ነን፣ እግዚአብሔርን በመውደድ እና በማምለክ በአቅማችን። የዚህች ቤተ ክርስቲያን መሠረቶች መጽሐፍ ቅዱሳዊ የቃሉ ትምህርት፣ በመንፈስ የሚመራ አምልኮ፣ ትክክለኛ ግንኙነት፣ የማያቋርጥ ጸሎት እና ለችግረኞች መሐሪ አቅርቦት ናቸው።
